About Me:
I have been out of the country for a time and am now re-integrating back into the bay area.
I am a quiet, older woman, who is a semi-retired, freelance graphic designer mainly working for non-profits and photographer.
Beauty is an important element in my world.
My humor is a bit wry (twisted, dark, whatever), although I spend quite a bit of time volunteering at the East Bay Meditation Center and taking classes.
As Mushim says, “it’s a big, bad Buddhist world out there. . .”
I am someone who likes a tidy home (but am not obsessive about it, so a dish in the sink will not freak me out, unless it starts to grow new organs)
I think of myself as self-sufficient and low-maintenance.
I am politically aware, supportive of the Occupy Movement, etc. Do not identify as either Dem. or Repub.
I don’t bring a lot of furnishings with me, (when I went to Canada I sold everything), but time will take care of that.

What I am looking for:
• Rent of $500 – $700 per month
• A quiet room that gets some light
• A workable kitchen w/a gas stove (hopefully)
• Good water pressure in the bathroom
• No more than 2 or 3 roommates
• Cat friendly (yes, I have one – a 10 yr. old female named Sal)
