New Peer-Facilitated Young Adult Meditation and Wisdom Circle
Beginning next Monday, February 27, A Deep Life Mentoring’s Zach Schlosser will begin to facilitate a ten-week, weekly Young Adult Meditation and Wisdom Discussion Circle. This course is an extensive investigation into a number of meditation practices designed to free the heart and gain insight into the nature of self, identity, world, and unconditional well-being. Each 2-hour session includes two guided or semi-guided meditations, and 2 blocks of facilitated group discussion. In discussion we’ll cover any topic that interests you, since spiritual wisdom and well-being cannot possibly be limited to anything less than the totality of our lives. However, we’ll also be sure to to discuss the technical aspects of making progress in each of our meditation techniques. In the course practice and discussion weave in and out of each other, as do aloneness and mutuality, head and heart. Each is experienced in its own full dignity, as well as seen to be the necessary partner to the other.

I look forward to meeting you.
Warmly,
Zach
P.S. Here’s what two previous participants said about the 10-week course:
“Zach has a breadth of knowledge and experience that comes across in the groups he facilitates and helps to make everyone comfortable. Even having been a meditator for a long time, I learned a lot in the ten weeks we were practicing. The people who are attracted to the course are also fantastically interesting, and make the discussion around the meditations fruitful and penetrating.”

“In our weeks together I acquired this sense of ease that has been really beautiful to live in. While I am still struggling to answer a lot of big, and sometimes overwhelming, questions I now feel that I can do so from a place of joy and respect. This rich exploration (an exploration into my self, my interactions with others, and the bright glimpses of an radically inclusive whole) was deepened by the community of open, kind, and wonderful people that it was my pleasure to get to know. I think the most important thing I gained was an illumination of (some of!) the knots that I carry, and the cultivation of respect for them and for the empowering process of slowly untangling them–through the combination of meditation and the supportive sharing of wisdom by Zach and the others in the class. It was also completely invaluable to listen/support others in this process (and the range of places it has taken them). I am coming a way with a deep sense of gratitude.”
