Relax. Recuperate. Rejuvinate.
Rhoda’s Acupuncture is a healthcare practice just blocks from the EBMC, operated by Rhoda Climenhaga, LICENSED ACUPUNCTURIST, an EBMC member. Rhoda uses Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to help her patients heal on all levels – physical, emotional, and spiritual.
Rhoda has created a space for patients to feel nurtured and supported. She has extensive experience with pain management and can help relieve a wide variety of chronic pain issues and auto-immune conditions that have resisted conventional treatments.
Rhoda also specializes in Women’s Health, with 10 years of experience using natural methods to treat women’s health issues, including dysmenorrhea, menopause, excess menstruation, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, PMS, genital skin irritations, pain, and much more. Acupuncture treatments can enhance fertility, maintain healthy pregnancy, and promote lactation. Rhoda has helped many get pregnant, including lesbian women using IUI or IVF.
Rhoda is passionate about healthy living on all levels. Helping people create balanced, healthy lives is her soul work, the product of a long and meaningful journey of self discovery and healing. She has 25 years of mediation experience, and often includes guided meditations in her treatments.

SARANA COMMUNITY ACUPUNCTURE
968 San Pablo Avenue, Albany, CA 94706, Tel. 510.525.5056
We offer low-cost sliding scale acupuncture in a community setting, which is a quiet shared space with recliners and a couple of massage tables. Our interest is to provide access to the benefits of regular acupuncture for folks with ordinary incomes, so unlike many “standard” acupuncture practices that often charge $65 and up per session, we charge $20 – 40 per session (on a sliding scale) and let our clients decide what amount they want to pay (we never do means testing). The group setting creates a collective energy that strengthens each individual treatment.
We believe that Community Acupuncture can play a vital role in keeping health costs down while keeping people healthy.
