Through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program

for taxpayers with annual incomes of $49,000 or less

To schedule an appointment, please call Senator Hancock’s Office at(510) 286-1333

TAXPAYERS NEED TO BRING:

•       Valid Photo ID

•       Social Security Card or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number for all family members

•       All W-2’s, 1098’s, and 1099’s (if any)

•       Copy of Prior-Year Tax Return

•       Bank Account and Routing Number for Direct Deposit for your refund or

Direct Debit for your balance due

•       Other income/expense information

•       Total Tuition Fees & Expenses

•       Total Expenses Paid for Child/Day Care

•       Day Care Providers Identifying Number

•       Landlord’s name, address and phone number for the CA Renter’s Credit

 

If you are unable to attend on these dates or need additional information,

please call either the Controller’s Office at (213) 286-6010 or your local 2-1-1.
